what makes us sad

what makes me sad is when other people are sad.

what also makes me sad is guilt.

what also makes me sad is darkness and filthiness.

what also makes me sad are ill people.

I am sad when I make wrong choices.

As Abraham Lincoln put wisely:

"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That's my religion."

Except there's more to that for my religion.

what makes me sad is when I get a C or lower on any school work.

It makes me sad when I see people who are dating other people who are not up to their quality. Actually, it just bugs me.

Bad musicians who are popular. Because there are phenomenal, unknown musicians out there who deserve to be famous much more than Katy Perry.

The show Glee bugs the crap out of me. It's such a load of garbage. Bratty, rich, slutty kids getting famous for singing other peoples songs because they can't make their own. BS.

It bugs me when people comment on this blog just to advertise for their blogs. I'd rather have no comment at all then "OMG cute blog girlfriends! Check out mine at cutefashionableredhead@blogspot.com! Hee hee hee!"
Just because you said that, I'm not going to look at your blog.

It bugs me when people rag on Lady Gaga. So many people hate her because she's weird and slutty, but those people listen to Britney Spears and Rihanna, some of the biggest whores to walk the earth. Hypocrites. At least Lady Gaga is putting a different spin on it. And technically, she can out out-sing most  of the other female pop stars. She's got a set of pipes. And she plays a darn good piano solo. What Britney do? Other than dance around with a friggin snake? Not much.

Obviously, this is turning into a bit of a rant. It's good to get these feelings out there though.

It bothers me that every time I wear heels, it snows. Makes it hard to walk.

It bugs me when people go on and on about how great "Zumba" is. I mean, if you like it, that's great. You work those Shakira songs. But you don't need to talk about it 24/7.

It bugs me that people who die young are usually considered more talented then they really were. For example, Jimi Hendrix. He is flipping awesome. He was an incredible guitarist. He is widely regarded as the best of all time. Really? I think people like Jimmy Page, who are super old and have had a lifetime to learn more and more about their instrument, are probably better. The same story with Marilyn Monroe. Some people think she's like one of the greatest actresses of all time. Hardly. Yeah, she was hot. But she pretty much played the same type of character in all her movies. The sexy, somewhat dumb, blonde chick that the dudes drool over. She really helped the "Dumb Blonde" stereotype move along. She was famous for being hot. She was pretty much the tramp of her day. Why people idolize her, I will never know.
It's the same story with Kurt Cobain, John Bonham, Amy Winehouse, and pretty much everyone famous who dies young. All their faults and screw ups are magically forgotten. Whitney Houston was really talented, and everyone talks about how she could sing 3 octaves and so forth, but no one talks about the fact that she was crack head.

I love all the people I just talked about, by the way. Those people are some of my favorite musicians. Well, except for Marilyn. I'm not saying they deserved to die or anything. But they all died of drug related causes. And it's really sad. But just because they died doesn't make them the most talented people to ever walk the earth.

Okay. I'm done.
